Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram:BPH For this three-letter monogram - first initial B, middle initial P, last initial H - we began thinking about the overall design for letters from Diamond Monogram Set 10, which includes a single initial in the center space. This space could easily accommodate a different letter or letters in the center if we removed the one included in this style, so we started by deleting the letter, then looking for something to replace it. Letter combinations using Diamond Monogram Set 4 were an obvious choice, so we assembled the BPH combination, then scaled it down to fit inside the outside decorative elements. The letter combination also needed a bit of tweaking to make it a little narrower so that it fit comfortably inside. The overall size is 3 1/2" (89mm) tall by 2 1/4" (58mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
