Monogram CombinationsUnique Monograms combining multiple styles.  Monogram Styles Used:Monogram: S Just a nice simple single initial monogram - with a border that is compatible but introduces another design element. The letters from Victorian Monogram Set 14 have small open circle embellishments, so a circle border of some kind seems appropriate. There is a circle two-color border (Monogram Flourishes 1 - Year: 1969) that is a pie-crust design - half circles with a satin stitch inner border. This one seems to fit the bill. A small amount of tweaking to the design size of the letter was needed for the letter S to sit comfortably inside. The overall size is 4 5/8" (119mm) tall by 4 5/8" (119mm) wide. How we made these monogramsEmbroidery software programs make it easy to delete elements, copy and paste elements from other designs, resize different aspects, and merge elements together into one new design. Each program is a bit different in how the Edit functions are managed. Once you have learned to use yours, creating new monograms from other monogram parts is creative and fun. Experiment with different arrangements and colors. |
