Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1989
Movie: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 1989
Director: Steven Spielberg
Synopsis: In the third installment of this series, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) signature fedora on his head and bullwhip in hand, sets off to rescue his missing father Dr. Henry Jones (Sean Connery) - a lifelong scholar of the "Holy Grail." He must find his father, and perhaps the famous relic - if it exists - before the Nazis can achieve world domination, aided by a museum benefactor, Walter Donovan (Julian Glover).
Scene: The Drs. Jones travel to the Canyon of the Crescent Moon, which they now believe is the location of the grail. The Nazis arrive there also, and , after Donovan shoots Henry Jones, Indiana must capture the Grail, and eternal life, in order to save his father.
Monogram: Henry Jones's diary contains research information on "The Three Challenges" - one of which involves carefully crossing over a bridge of irregular patches marked with letters. There is, of course a catch - will he remember it ? - in the Latin alphabet the name of God is spelled differently.
