The artwork for this monogram style is from the 1950s - it has a sophisticated, country look. Simple letter shapes are surrounded by a decorative design composed of corner curls and unusual stitch types for an inside triangular and outside rectangular border. The monograms are inspired by decorative bookplate designs.
