| LetterBits What are LetterBits? Have you ever wondered what other things can be done with our Monogram Sets, in addition to traditional monogramming on garments, linens, etc? Have you ever felt that you don’t really do too much monogramming, so our designs may not be that useful to you? We have asked some talented and creative people in the embroidery world to work with us in creating new uses for our monogram letters. We asked them to “think outside the box” and come up with designs based on letters of the alphabet that weren’t monogram designs
Susan Schrempf, a recognized embellishment expert, and author of “Simple Ribbon Artistry by Machine,” published by Victorian Venture, has created LetterBits sets Oriental Quilt 1, Oriental Quilt 2, and Snowflakes. Susan copied, pasted, mirrored and rotated individual letters to make entirely new designs. Part of the fun is trying to recognize the letters of the alphabet in the designs! Use them for quilt blocks, home decoration, or just about anything.
Pauline Richards publishes the Total Embellishment Newsletter, and is known for her innovative stories in SEW NEWS, Sewing & Serger Update Newsletters and for her work with several sewing machine and trim companies. Pauline used our monogram designs to create Buttonhole Surrounds, Fashion Accents 1 and Fashion Borders 1. These designs add high-fashion embellishments to jackets, blouses, skirts, etc. Limitless possibilities! We will be adding to our LetterBits product line periodically - to keep your embroidery projects fresh and creative. |
