The accompanying article, called "Fleece with Flair" is a detailed how-to process for making the jacket and embellishing it with details from our Arabesque Monogram Set 5 (letters F and I) and Candlewick Monogram Set (French knot). The letters were rotated and duplicated, then combined with the French knots to produce an opulent design for the center of the jacket and the cuffs. This beautiful wool jacket, featuring individual
letters and monogram groups, also uses small sections of our monogram sets as
embellishments on the shoulder and around the buttons. It was created by Pauline
Richards.
Pauline Richards, an embellishment expert, publishes the Total Embellishment Newsletter, currently beginning its fourth year. She is known for her innovative stories in SEW NEWS, Sewing & Serger Update Newsletters and her work with several sewing machine and trim companies. Pauline works with Linda Griepentrog, Editor of SEW NEWS as co-director of the magazine's SEW N'Go educational shopping tours. She holds an M. Ed degree and has 17 years of teaching experience on the high school and college levels.
